As a pivotal part of their healthcare community, you'll play a crucial role in providing specialized care to newborns who require intensive medical attention. Minimum Requirements: Post/Additional registration with SANC (in Critical Care, Nursing Child or similar) is essential. Hospital experience is essential. BLS Qualification. Updated ACLS/ PALS/ ATLS/NALS advantageous. Minimum of 3 years experience as a Unit Manager or similar role. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Provide 24/7 care for premature and critically ill newborns. Perform essential medical procedures, administer medications, and manage care plans. Monitor care quality, participate in audits, document patient services accurately, and contribute to infection control efforts. Actively participate in resuscitation efforts and provide guidance on critical care technologies. Foster positive patient experiences, build relationships with stakeholders, and collaborate with internal teams for improved patient care.
