Senior Account Manager Cape Town - Cape Town Region

The individual will be required to engage with existing and hunt for new prospects and customers, whether on the phone, face to face or written, to position our products and solutions, all the way through to the actual sale as well as on-going customer account management. This is a challenging and varied role, and will only suit a self-motivated individual wishing to develop their sales abilities and earn a high salary through successful wins. Self-Motivated and willing to come out of your comfort zone, in order to excel to a senior sales person position, earning a high commission. Proven experience in working closely with customers, building relationships the right people in the organization Self-aware - the ability to identify your own weaknesses and short-falls and work with a team of senior sales people, to help improve and develop your skills. Demonstrate your understanding of the sales cycle, engaging with all during the process e.g. customer, manufacturer/supplier and senior management Be able to push the boundaries in order to close business Be capable of running your own sales campaigns whether into prospects or existing customers, will support from the sales team, suppliers and manufacturers Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Want to excel and move to the next level in your account management / new business sales career Proven experience in working closely with customers, building relationships with the right people in any organization Ability to articulate winning account plans and translate into tangible sales activities, successfully engaging internal or supplier sales support teams Self-aware - the ability to identify their own weaknesses and short-falls and work with a team of senior sales people, to help improve and develop their skills. Essential: Keenness and aptitude for working with a team and on their own. Understanding of Information Technology products, specifically "Network" related products (Firewalls, LAN, Wi-Fi, Core Network Functions). Fluent written and spoken English, competence in written dialogue (e.g. internal and customer emails) Excellent Telephone Manner Have a good understanding of MS office and CRM systems Valid Driving License for SA Essential: Keenness and aptitude for working with a team Confident to take responsibility for the maintenance function of the business Fluent written and spoken English, competence in written dialogue (e.g. internal and customer emails) Ability to work under pressure Outgoing, open minded, motivated and enthusiastic Maintain a professional and polite disposition at all times Have a good understanding of MS office Enjoy working with a team, where hard work is fun and rewarding Full training is given both internally and externally on our products, solutions and customer references.
