My client is looking for a talented Senior Accountant to join their team and play a pivotal role in managing their financial operations. If you're passionate about accuracy, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you Duties: As a Senior Accountant, you'll be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization. Daily Reporting: Generate timely and accurate financial reports to provide insights into our financial performance. Analyzing Targets: Evaluate financial targets and assist in developing strategies to achieve them. Meeting with Department Heads: Collaborate with department heads to understand financial needs and provide strategic guidance. Managing Monthly Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecast Processes: Coordinate and oversee the monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support decision-making. Providing Back-Office Services: Manage accounts payable, collections, and payroll processes efficiently. Monitoring Cash Flow: Keep a close eye on cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability. Liaising with Accountant Teams: Work closely with accountant teams to streamline processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing financial accounting systems and ensure compliance with company and accounting standards. Ensure accurate revenue recognition and perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts. Effectively manage receivables and payables to minimize company risk. Produce accurate financial reports within specified deadlines. Interpret financial information and provide insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making. Ensure statutory and compliance obligations are met, including tax issues and annual financial statements. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes. Monitor cash flows and predict future trends to support financial planning. Maintain and support key internal controls effectively. Contribute to special projects and long-term business plans as needed. Arrange new sources of finance for debt facilities when required. Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Accounting or relevant Finance qualification CGMA / CIMA designation preferred Management experience advantageous Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
