We are looking for a Senior Accountant. Job Description: · Produces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product. Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors. · Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements. · Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies. · Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. · Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule Job Requirements: · Excellent accounting software user and administration skills · Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process · Awareness of business trends · Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles · Proven senior accounting experience Salary on offer – R 25 000.00 – R 30 000.00 The post Senior Accountant appeared first on freerecruit.co.za .
