Senior Accountant - CA - Bellville
Our client a Producer, Packer and Exporter of fruit is looking to employ a Senior Accountant (CA Qualified) to join their finance team in Bellville. Requirements: Qualified CA, with a strong commercial acumen Minimum of 8years experience in finance of accounting Analytical and problem solving skills Ability to lead and motivate a team Proficient in MS office and payroll software Agricultural experience would be to your advantage Be willing to travel from time to time Responsibilities: Budgeting and Forecasting Prepare monthly management accounts Monthly financial reporting Prepare board packs Prepare and submission of statutory returns and company secretarial duties; - Know you client procedures - CIPC - SARS (including VAT, ETI, Tax computations and provisional tax) Prepare business plans to provide accurate financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards Manage weekly and monthly payments Prepare of audit files and finalization of accounts Liaising with external auditors and make sure company compliance with all aspects of the audits Review and implementation of internal controls Risk Analysis Managing department staff Continuous evaluation of and improvements to financial systems and processes, to increase efficiency and accuracy.
