Reference: CAW005598-MU-1 Senior Accountant (Legal Experience) - JHB North, Gauteng A law firm in Johannesburg North is looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee the financial aspects of the firm. The suitable candidate will report to the directors of the firm. This is an in-office position Salary: R20k - R40k Qualifications and Abilities: BCOM in Accounting Relevant accounting experience within the legal industry Computer literate in legal / accounting software e.g CRM; Sage; Pastel & Xero SAP working experience Strong communication skills Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Team player and self-starter Responsibilities: Management accounts Preparation and management of budgets Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (preparation/reviews) on a monthly and annual basis Review payments and reconciliations (suppliers, debtors, cashbook, inter-company) Forex (limited) Manage and forecast cash flow Preparation and submission of VAT, EMP and tax returns Fixed asset register maintenance Annual audit preparations, schedules, queries Ability to lead and manage a team Please note that only candidates with the required experience will be considered and contacted.
