NG Global Energy Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Accountan t to join the team. About Us NG Global Energy Solutions is a diversified company specialising in technical consulting and turnkey supply of coal and other commodities including manganese and iron ore to clients locally and abroad. The candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager The candidate will be required to reconcile invoices against tonnages moved and contractual services completed The candidate will be required to process invoices on the accounting software system, Pastel Partner and QuickBooks Preferably the candidate should have experience working with these software systems The candidate will be required to transact against various currencies including but limited to Dollar, ZAR, AED and EUR The candidate must have previous experience transacting across multiple currencies The candidate should have knowledge of preparing document submissions for Letters of Credit The candidate will be responsible for submitting instructions to the bank related to Forward Exchange Transactions The candidate will be required to review the company's financial reports on a regular basis to ensure that all invoices and amounts are correctly processed The candidate will be required to reconcile the bank statement on a daily basis The candidate will be required to sign-off on monthly VAT submissions related to his/her scope of processing The candidate must have the ability to work across the books of multiple entities within a consortium / group company structure Min 10 years' working as an accountant The candidate must have an accounting related qualification from a reputable accredited tertiary institution Strong numerical and analytical abilities Good communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work well in a team Attention to detail Good time management skills The candidate should have good record keeping skills and be well-organised The candidate should be inherently honest and have a strong work ethic Knowledge of incoterms is preferable Market Related
