Please note that this is a contract position and does need someone to be able to start immediately In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining financial integrity while adhering to regulatory requirements. From statutory activities to financial audits and reporting, your expertise will drive our success. Accounting, Reporting, and Month-End Closing: Ensure accurate processing of all accounting entries and transactions, including manual journals, advanced payments, and sundry sales, in accordance with US GAAP and standard costing principles. Provide guidance and support to business units on transaction treatment and codification as per Chart of Accounts. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet variance reporting as per guidelines. Manage month-end closing processes for the Accounting Department while assisting Treasury, Accounts Receivables, and other related activities. Fixed Assets & Long-Term Lease Management: Lead the company's Fixed Assets Management policy, overseeing the lifecycle of fixed assets from creation to disposal. Coordinate regular physical verifications of fixed assets and maintain an accurate asset register in alignment with internal policies. Ensure proper recognition of long-term leases in accordance with IFRS 16, coordinating with business counterparts and submitting records to the SLAN platform. Treasury: Supervise corporate credit card activities in collaboration with IBS Teams. Manage coordination of Fleet Credit facility with various banks and insurance policies with institutions, including support for claims processes. Maintain and update signatories for fleet with various banks and ensure annual budget setting and allocation of lease and fuel costs in line with fleet requirements. Ensure lease contracts are maintained in accordance with IFRS 16 and support IBS Treasury Teams in various activities such as Dividend Payments and Funds allocations. Ad Hoc Duties: Provide support for yearend Accruals process led by IBS Cost Controlling. Assist in SAP Pricing Masterdata activities led by the IBS Masterdata team. Perform financial analysis on an ad hoc basis as requested by different collaborators. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent; professional accounting qualifications (CA, ACCA, or CIMA) preferred. Minimum of 3 years' external audit experience and 2 years' commercial experience, ideally in an FMCG or costing environment. Proficiency in accounting principles, financial analysis, SAP, and advanced Excel skills. Additional Competencies: Strong financial analytical skills and reporting capabilities.
