TKDS is an infrastructure development solutions firm focusing on Architecture, Transactional Advisory, Property and Development Management. TKDS is currently looking for a Professional Senior Architectural Technologist / Professional Architect T he successful candidate must illustrate a thorough knowledge of the design- to construction stage (SACAP work stages 03 - 05). Proof of experience will be a requirement. A thorough knowledge of on-site projects and technical documentation will be expected. Proof of experience will be a requirement. The individual needs to be comfortable with designing and problem-solving pertaining to Architectural structures as well as interior detailing (e.g., joinery, finishes, etc). The individual must be able to check and write project specific specifications. The individual needs to be capable of performing condition assessments. The individual must have experience in Government Infrastructure. The individual must have experience in the role of team leader and co-ordination of other construction disciplines during the documentation stages. The individual must also have experience in the role of team leader on conducting, supervising, coordinating and reporting on-site inspections of construction work being executed. Knowledge of the JBCC contractual system is beneficial. The individual will be expected to work and perform under strict deadlines and be comfortable to pace workflow to meet deadlines to the highest expected standard. The individual needs to be able to work under pressure and without supervision with the ability to meet target deadlines. Ability to prioritize workload. Excellent interpretation and communication skills required for both in person and relaying information via documentation. Excellent team working skills.
