Job Requisition and Talent Acquisition contact REQ: 133043 TA Consultant: Lebohang Monate Advert closing date: 10 42024 Job Family Information Technology Career Stream It Application Development Leadership Pipeline Manage Self: Technical Job Purpose To ensure the support and maintain the data warehouse in line with the data model; metadata repository and to provide business intelligence analysis through performing strategic and operational support. Job Responsibilities • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes; systems and policies and support implementation of new processes; policies and systems. • Utilize resources by adhering to standards; policies and procedures. •Align and continuously improve processes by identifying innovation opportunities. •Identify and mitigate risk by executing within governance. •Ensure information is provided correctly to stakeholders by maintaining knowledge sharing knowledge with team. •Develop reporting solutions; write SAS stored procedures, functions, triggers to manipulate the data supplied by the source system and prepare it for reporting purposes. •Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for updates to databases. •Manage projects to analyse, design, develop and maintain database solutions to manage client data. •Clear technical understanding across a broad range of technologies •Managing the SAS Design architecture in a complex model environment •Structure data into compliance standards by adhering to metadata governance procedures according to Nedbank documented standards and formats. •Govern population of data marts and metadata repository by complying to standards; systems; processes and procedures. •Support business units by providing consulting services that delivers data and information relevant to their business. •Ensure customer needs are met through regular customer feedback sessions. Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees Preferred Qualification • Honour’s Degree that includes Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Informatics andor Finance Essential Certifications Data Management (DAMA) Certification, Certification/formal training in relevant technology Certifications • Data Management (DAMA) Certification, Certification/formal training in relevant technology • Azure Fundamentals Minimum Experience Level • 10 years relevant experience of which 5-7 years is in a data management /business role • 2 - 5 years’ experience managing others • 2 - 5 years’ ETL, MS SQL, SAS, Power BI, Advanced Excel Technical / Professional Knowledge Microsoft Office Relevant regulatory knowledge Business writing skills Behavioural Competencies Coaching Communication Initiating Action Managing Work Quality Orientation Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills Please contact the Nedbank Recruiting Team at 27 860 555 566
