Reference: CET003962-MO-1Our client in centurion is looking for a Bookkeeper/Accountant. They would prefer an Afrikaans or English-speaking lady for this position. It is important that this person’s experience in bookkeeping is in all facets of bookkeeping as they will be working independently to do the books, and don’t have a team to rely on. There will also be very little intervention from owners/management. This candidate needs to self-motivated, and able to work independently, setting their own deadlines and getting the job done. Full bookkeeping function including but not limited to: Supplier processing, allocations of payments and reconciliations. Credit control and collections. Customer processing, allocations of payments and reconciliations. Loading of payments for release. All Cashbooks and reconciliations. Cashflow monitoring and projections. Sars related filing – VAT, PAYE, Tax Clearance, IRP5’s etc. Reconciling payroll to accounting software. Maintain fixed asset register. Depreciation of Assets. Processing of credit applications of customers. Monthly management accounts and trial balance analysis for management. Creation of quotes/sales orders. Timesheet calculations & payroll. Assisting with related staff queries Regular backups and archiving. Procurement/Supply Chain Management participation EE management/administration and submissions Profile This person must be excellent in Excel, has Sage Pastel and payroll experience The ideal candidate has a bookkeeping qualification or is nearing completion of a bookkeeping qualification Minimum 5 years’ experience in a full bookkeeper role Experience in EE submissions, management as they will have to drive the EE plan Detail-orientated. Ability to work with minimal supervision R 30000 - R 40000
