Reference: JHB006306-AM-2 Please Note: This is a hybrid model – offices based in Rivonia Our client specializing in accounting, taxation, secretarial and administration services is urgently looking for a Senior Bookkeeper (with management experience) to join their team. The role will involve managing a team as well as clients. System skills required: Relevant degree and qualification in finance, SAIPA qualification would be beneficial Must have proven experience working in an accounting firm and dealing with multiple clients Must have experience managing a team on finance staff Caseware - essential for this role Pastel Partner VIP payroll or similar XERO - ideal not essential Responsibilities of position: Responsible for managing key relationships with clients (4 – 20 companies that vary in size) Payroll processing Proven bookkeeping experience up to trial balance Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable / receivable principles Solid understanding of VAT (Vatable / non-vatable supplies, calculating VAT, processing and capturing transactions involving VAT) Reconciling bank statements, customers and suppliers for various clients Adapting quickly between the nature of business of each client and the way each client is processed Experience and a solid understanding of SARS submissions (E-filing) Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records Hands-on experience with spreadsheets High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Manage, teach and mentor a team of 5 bookkeepers If you would like to email your CV directly – please send it to aliciambedifferent.co.za Information displayed above not limited to advertisement.
