Senior Business Intelligence Developer – Johannesburg – R450 to R500 per hour - Johannesburg
A consultancy specialising in AI and applications, with a primary focus on helping enterprise clients to extract business value by implementing AI solutions and maximise a desired return on investment are in the market for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to Create and manage stored procs, functions, views and triggers for efficient data processing and generate financial data required for revenue services and financial authority.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end to end data solutions through Microsoft BI Stack
- Create and optimise advanced SQL queries for efficient data retrieval, manipulation and reporting.
- Liaise with end users and stake holders on ad hoc requirements logged.
- Create reporting dashboards and Value-Adding cases.
- Automation of Manual Business & BI Processes.
- Task and Self Organisation on KANBAN Board and Online Log Tracking Software
- Assist Junior Developers with SQL/DAX Code Optimisation & QC to align with
best practice.
- Complete the list of prioritised logs from the business within current Sprint Cycle.
- Administer month end procedures and monthly commission runs
- Create and update documentation for the BI environment
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related
- field.
- Microsoft Certifications in Business Intelligence and / or Data Engineering
advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Cloudera, SAP HANNA advantageous.
- Minimum 6 Years experience as a Microsoft SQL Developer.
- Minimum 6 Years experience in SSIS (ETL Development), SSAS (Data Cube.
- Mining), SSRS (Report Development) & Power BI (Data Visualisations).
