- Matric
- National Diploma or Degree relevant to Procurement, Project Management, Engineering (Civil)
- Strong procurement, buying, admin background
- Industry & Steel Pipe Product knowledge a must
- Advanced Excel skills
- Creating and expediting Works Orders
- Completion of Works Order Schedules and Charge Waybills
- Purchase Orders on buyout items
- Price enquiries for sales, contracts and project staff
- Sourcing of local stock products and negotiating price
- Sourcing of more competitive buyouts
- Administering price increase and decreases from local manufacturers
- Managing shouldered pipe stocks
- Managing stock levels of SABS 62 and SABS 719 pipe stock
- Managing stock levels on fabricated pipe and fabricated fittings for stock
- Preparation and receipting of completed creditors documentation for payment
- Investigating and preparing stock adjustments
- Preparation of SABS 62 & SABS 719 Price Lists and increase / decrease letters
- Ad hoc physical stock checks and analysis of stock on order and allocations
- Inventory control in regard to Product Groups under your control
- Re-order proposal reports
- Work in progress production report and planning
- Monthly outstanding orders report
- Manage stock rotation
- Buying and expediting of orders and jobs both internal and external
- Generating and expediting export and import orders
- Liaising with suppliers and develop price strategies
- Contract management
- Material supply and expediting
- Research markets and obtain prices for raw materials, machines and consumables
- Raw material quantity calculations
- Costing estimations
- Assist sales department with sourcing requests and tender pricing
- Build and maintain bill of materials
- Support departments with procurement needs
- Assist with quality checks for materials
- Production planning
- Validating accuracy of labour and material allocations to jobs
- Opening and closing of work orders
- Technical buying and sourcing of new stock locally
- Receiving stock on system
