Senior C# Developer - Johannesburg
Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior C# Developer to join our client’s dynamic and innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing C#/.NET applications. This role requires a deep understanding of the .NET framework and a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C#/.NET applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Senior C# Developer.
- Strong knowledge of C#, .NET framework, and .NET Core.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Proficiency in SQL and database design.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
