Reference: JHB024358-CP-1Senior CNC Programmer Setter Our client, an esteemed engineering firm with deep roots in the mining sector, is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer Setter Operator to join their dynamic team. If you’re passionate about precision machining and have a wealth of experience in CNC programming, read on Matric or NQF5/NQF6 with Mathematics (Trigonometry). A Diploma or Degree is preferred. Approximately 10 to 15 years of relevant CNC programming experience in a jobbing workshop environment. Technical Skills: Mandelli Experience: Crucial for this role. Older Mori Seiki CNC Machines: Ability to operate machines that require on-the-machine programming. Master-CAM: Proficiency in developing CNC programs using Master-CAM. 5-Axis Multi-Tasking Machines: Thorough understanding, including B-axis and sub spindles. Horizontal Boring Mills (Mandelli Machine): Familiarity with programming and operation. Vertical Boring Mills (Kia Machine): Knowledge of machining procedures. 2-D Turning Machines: Competence in creating programs for CNC lathes and mills. Responsibilities: Develop CNC programs to ensure quality and production efficiency. Operate and program 5-axis multi-tasking machines, including B-axis and sub spindles. Create machining procedures for horizontal and vertical boring mills. Train new employees in operating CNC machinery.
