Job Description:The role involves creating, analysing, and documenting a variety of predictive credit models across the whole credit life cycle.
Responsibilities:- Provide strategic direction to the collection's function and consider how it can be improved, optimized, and expanded to achieve business objectives
- Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate models and strategies throughout the collection's lifecycle
- Determine and monitor key risk factors, root causes, and propose solutions based on portfolio-level information
- Develop, review, track, and analyze targets for forecasting and collections scorecards
- Maintain proper dashboard rollout, data accuracy, and appropriate reporting by collaborating with the BI data team
- Provide up-to-date analysis and reporting, as well as strategic guidance, in order to increase collections consistently
- Preparation and presentation of performance reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Assist multiple stakeholders and projects on a daily basis with analytical assistance
- Enhance portfolio profitability by recommending and implementing appropriate champion/challenger strategies
- Provide operational support for improving collection and recovery performance through data analytics and model integration
- Optimise the use of resources and develop a campaign strategy for maximizing their effectiveness
- Enhance junior analysts' analytical skills, share knowledge, and promote a culture of continuous improvement by training and mentoring them
Education:- Degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or actuarial science
Job Experience & Skills Required:- 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics in credit risk management and/or collections
- SQL experience required
- Experience with R, Python, and/or other leading statistical software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
