Senior Coordinator Events and Sponsorships - Pretoria

Reference: JHB000509-Dana-1Reporting to the Manager: Sponsorships & Events, the incumbent will focus on the planning and organization of Sponsorship events and activations. This position takes ownership of numerous sponsorship properties which will require budget management, relationship management, brand management and the adherence to corporate governance. Furthermore, this position includes a digital support element for all sponsorship properties. Knowledge and usage experience with SAP will be beneficial. This position forms part of the Sales and Marketing Division based in Sandton. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Budget planning and management Sponsorships and events strategy conceptualization Sponsorships and events strategy execution Project timeline management SAP responsibilities (raising requisitions, creating service entries) Collaborating with other business areas as well as external suppliers Management of new sponsorship contracts as well as sponsorship contract renewals Digital support for all sponsorships Maintenance of digital database as well as tracking the digital performance of all sponsorships QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: NQF 5 level qualification (240 credits - level 8 framework) in related field Motor industry experience and experience in promotions or marketing will be advantageous.
