My client in the Agricultural Sector is looking for a Senior Credit Manager to join their team. Required fully bilingual individuals (English & Afrikaans) for this position. Must have completed Bachelors Degree (accounting/ financial management/banking) with a minimum 3 years relevant agricultural finance (credit) experience. Required demonstrated experience in effective management, control, evaluation, and collection of credit to improve the overall quality of the company's credit portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and approve credit applications Provide credit solutions to clients after considering the clients risk profile, financial needs and external factors such as the status of the industry and market prospect Ensure quality of the credit book and constantly mitigate and reduce the risk of the portfolio Control and securitise credit facilities Manage and coordinate the credit collections and recovery Optimization of business and credit portfolio - Liaise with potential clients on an individual basis and through organised structures to increase market share
