It is perfect opportunity for a commercially minded designer with a regard for luxury brands and a love affair with interior fabric, homeware, and décor.The successful candidate would have an excellent grip on the intricacies of cross-platform marketing and have tackled everything from billboards to brochures, packaging to print ads, retail signage to social media and web-design.Purpose: Maintain a high standard of execution and attention to detail in all aspects of visual design to ensure brand identity is consistent and inspiring.Responsibilities:Conceptualise, design, create, review, and oversee all visual marketing-related content, such as:Print elements, including catalogues, brochures, magazine adverts, banners, and any in-store designs.Digital elements, including newsletters, social media and website content, and any other digital designs required; andOutdoor marketing elements, including vehicle branding, billboards and building wraps.Brainstorm seasonal concepts and campaigns with the marketing team, stipulating what is needed to produce the required design elements.Ensure consistency and integration of art direction across all channels.Work to brief and show understanding and relevance to the target market.Develop, maintain, and articulate brand guidelines and create new design templates.Manage and mentor our small design team.Requirements:A relevant tertiary qualification i.e. degree in visual communication, graphic design or similar.Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop.A minimum of five years' working experience in a similar role.Thrive in a fast-paced, results driven environment.Retail/e-commerce brand experience advantageous.This position reports to the marketing manager and is based in our marketing studio situated at our head office in Stikland, Bellville.If you match these criteria, we would love to hear from you.
