Skills: ü Able to work in a teamü Able to work independentlyü Analysing and problem solvingü Knowledge on occupational safety Key Skills & Knowledge Required The position will require an individual with sound knowledge of instrumentation, variable speed drives and automation systems.This position will require standby duty and overtime when required.The successful candidate will be expected to be systems driven to always ensure effective functionality of the plant and have a flair for innovation to drive continuous improvementThe candidate will participate in new capital projects as well as continuous improvementSound knowledge of Siemens, Omron and Delta PLCs and VSDsSound knowledge of Hydraulics and PneumaticDELTA. Omron and SIEMENS PLC/HMI knowledge would be advantageous.5 years experiences gained in PLC and SCADA software development and support, ideally in a powder/ash handling and batching systems environment, along with a strong desire and capability to empower people.Responsibilities and expectations, but not limited to:The successful candidate will report to the Factory Manager and will be accountable for the site control systems, calibrations, electrical, instrumentation support. Duties & Responsibilities Maintenance and repairs to all equipmentü Electrical, Instrumentation and electronic repair and maintenance of all machinery within the factory, and all associated electrical supply and control panels.ü Strong programming and fault-finding knowledge of DELTA, Omron and SIEMENS Variable Speed Drives and PLC''''''''s will be advantageous.ü Knowledge of Ethercat/Ethernet and Profinet networks is required.ü Fault-finding and analysis of machine condition and electronic component failures.ü Load cell fault finding, diagnostics and calibrationü Perform routine maintenance and calibration on weighing systems, level control systems, level transmitters, and control system as per procedures and schedules.
