Responsibilities: - Provide advice and guidance to all managers regarding all aspects of employee relations.
- Work closely with the regions leadership business partner in all industrial relations matters including but limited to misconduct, incapacity management, grievance management and disciplinary procedure.
- Manage relationship between the company the trade unions.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of the employment equity.
- Ensure policies and disciplinary code adheres to amendment with changes in local legislation.
- Manage all disciplinary and grievance procedures in the region.
- Represent the company at CCMA (Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration)
- Represent the company at the Bargaining council on all arbitration matters.
- Manage all poor work performance processes in the region.
- Provide advisory services to leaders (grade H and below) in topics such as: engagement, performance analysis, PDR, succession plan, merit process, out of cycle, among others.
- Implement improvements in productivity, through review of processes, innovations, and new technologies.
- Ensure an efficient and effective customer-oriented service, maintaining constant meetings with leaders and employees, monitoring SLAs.
Qualification and Experience: - Bachelors Degree in HR or equivalent.
- LLB degree will be an added advantage.
- 5-10 yrs. industry experience (5 years must have been spent in middle management)
- Previous experience with CCMA and Bargaining Council.
- Previous experience with MEIBC and Main agreement.
- Knowledge of BCEA, LRA Skills Development Act etc
