Roles and responsibilities:

Diagnosing and Repairing
Inspect all equipment on site for defects or required repairs in conjunction with fault list from Field Agent
Trouble shoot all breakdowns o Repair breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance and repair
Observe specifications, standards and procedures when carrying out repairs
Inspect condition of tyres on vehicles
Test safe stop weekly
Collect oil sample of components and send away for testing; investigate and provide feedback on oil sample results to Field Agent
Advise Plant Field Agent when assistance is needed with troubleshooting, spares and/or repairs.
Planning of Work
Complete preventative and reactive maintenance in conjunction with site production program
Advise the Site Foreman/General Foreman/Site Agent of required services, repairs and major breakdowns
Attend site production meetings to discuss service schedules, site programs, preventative maintenance
Communicate with operators regarding problems with equipment o Report all break-downs on a daily basis to Plant Field Agent.
