Reference: CMF002732-MvW-1A Top healthcare entity based in Johannesburg is looking for a Senior Finance Manager who will be responsible for the operational implementation of the group and function strategy through implementing the defined, integrated response to the external environment and strategy. Specifically managing corporate finance functions of statutory compliance, taxation, budget development and management, audit and management accounts reporting Qualification/Experience: BCom Honours, completed Articles preferred 10 years post articles experience Job description: Compliance and Risk ManagementLegal, statutory and regulatory compliance on all requirements are implemented and maintained at defined standards for area of responsibility Operational structures, measures and frameworks for risk control, management and governance within the area of responsibility are implemented Ensure area of responsibility is a valuable contributor to the Group social awareness and corporate citizenship objectives and strategy Financial ManagementAccountability for allocated cost centre budget, variances, reports and overall financial management Operating ModelDevelop operational plans to meet the defined delivery objectives, supporting and being supported by peer teams and areas of responsibility Optimise the core operational internal processes and internal supply chain and resolve operational conflictsManage the overall financial operations including Audit, Taxation, Financial Reporting and Budget Management Manage the process of costing models and analysis across the business Define company travel policy and procedures Establish and maintain relationships with providers Provide projection of weekly/monthly cash flows Manage annual budget cycle, determine budget deadlines, policies and procedure Operational Implementation of StrategyPlan and implement changes to the operations of the area of responsibility to respond to macro and micro-economic conditions, legislation, competition, market sentiment and the industry in general Provide input into and develop the business plan for the area of responsibility Ensure business plan is implemented in a manner that supports operational, quality and market imperatives Communicate business plan in alignment with strategic context and strategic implementation plans to ensure operational best practice and continuous improvement Operational LeadershipAccountability for the operational performance by team as per Human Capital frameworks and policies to ensure delivery to agreed standards and objectives Stakeholder ManagementEnsure appropriate, active and informative relationships with customers, value chain partners and industry players (if applicable) are in place And, if you possess the relevant qualifications, meet the minimum requirements and/or fit the job description for this finance vacancy, and are ready to take control of your next career move, please contact me today Please visit our website www.communicate.co.za to submit your CV directly or view other Finance related jobs.
