Senior Finance Manager - KwaZulu-Natal, Newcastle - Newcastle

Our client, a leading FMCG entity, is seeking a skilled and dynamic Finance Manager to join their expanding team in Newcastle, KZN. Key Responsibilities: Manage fixed asset management on site, ensuring accurate records and compliance. Exercise cost control over operational expenses to optimize resource allocation. Develop and monitor budgets to support business objectives. Oversee bill of materials (BOM), product costing, and margin management processes. Supervise the procurement of raw materials, including managing imports, forex, and customs clearance. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Analyze and present monthly management accounts, providing insights for decision-making. Implement strategies for effective stock control of raw materials and finished goods, including managing returns and credits. Conduct waste reporting and analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement. Manage logistics and warehousing costs, developing cost-to-serve models for efficiency. Oversee pallet stock management and optimize related processes. Ensure accurate processing of salaries and wages. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom), Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)), or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification. Minimum of 3 years post-articles experience or 6 years of relevant experience. Experience in systems implementations to enhance financial processes. Prior experience in the FMCG or Manufacturing sector is preferred.
