REQUIREMENTS- Matric, qualification in Finance / Marketing / Sales
- 8 years sales experience in the Industrial Environment
- Knowledge of Logistics, Warehousing, General Industrial Knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (reporting on Excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle objections
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
DUTIES- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets
- Use your ability to read and interpret financial statements to inform strategic sales decisions
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
- Provide detailed reports on sales performance and market trends
- Actively promote the sale of company products and generate increased sales from potential new customers
- Provide after sales service
- Service customers/potential customers via regular contact and personal visits
- Address and resolve customer complaints/ product alert problems timeously
- Provide customers with technical/other support in relation to product-related problems
- Keep abreast of developments and trends including competitor activity
- Track progress of new product development & be on the lookout to expand companys product range
- Arrange factory tours for customers/potential customers for educational purposes
- Arrange functions to promote products and man the company stand at exhibitions
- Liaise with Internal Sales regarding weekly Logistics Dispatch Schedule
- Update and maintain Salesforce as per the agreed procedure and standards
- Follow up on back-orders, cancelled orders and credits
- Generate annual budgets per product and by customer annually
- Attend the annual Sales Conference and do a presentation
- Check all colleagues, clients, suppliers adhere to all SHE policies and requirements
- Report to the Sales Manager: Industrial Division on all KPAs daily, weekly and monthly
- Processing quotations and orders
- Prepare regular sales reports of progress and forecasts for stakeholders
- Debtor management
- Demonstrating and presenting product presentations (Including sample management)
