IGrow Wealth Investments, South Africa’s #1 Property Investment Company, is looking for a Senior Front-End Web Developer to join their team in Cape Town.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Front-End Web Developer to lead our web development projects and enhance our digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with WordPress web development, exceptional design sensibilities, and comprehensive experience in digital marketing. Proficiency in front-end frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue.js is a plus. Experience in the property investment sector is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Development:
- Lead the development, customization, and maintenance of our WordPress websites.
- Implement custom themes and plugins to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize WordPress sites for maximum speed and scalability.
UI/UX Design:
- Collaborate with the design team to transform wireframes, mockups, and user stories into functional and visually appealing interfaces.
- Apply best practices in UX/UI design to enhance user experience and engagement.
- Maintain consistency in design elements and adhere to IGrow Wealth Investments' brand guidelines.
Digital Marketing:
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion on web platforms.
- Optimize web pages for SEO and improve site visibility on search engines.
- Create and manage content for digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and online advertising.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and back-end developers to deliver high-quality products.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Design, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress web development.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Previous experience in the property investment sector is a significant plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.

Design Skills:

Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or equivalent.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design projects.

Marketing Skills:

In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
Experience in creating and managing digital marketing campaigns.
Ability to analyze and interpret marketing data to drive decision-making.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
