Senior Full Stack Engineer - Wellington

We are seeking a talented and entrepreneurial Full Stack Engineer who is a team-player by nature, to contribute to the development of the firm's core application in an energetic, fast-paced environment. The role provides a great opportunity to develop a substantial portion of the system, from the design and architecture, to implementation, deployment and maintenance. This is a full-time position. Our technology stack includes but is not limited to .NET Core, Docker Containers, Angular11, Azure, AzureDevOps, Kubernetes, SASS, Node.js, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, MongoDB, JavaScript API for Office, Git. Build new and improve existing RESTful APIs using .NET Core. Build new and improve existing Angular 11 components for our core SPA. Design, code, and review code of new and existing product initiatives using best practices. Understand the architecture of the current applications and maintain them. Meet personal and team deadlines through time management and collaboration with team members. Ad hoc tasks as required by the management. Explore and experiment with new technologies. Actively participate in our agile SLDC execution. Demonstrable understanding and working experience of HTML5 and CSS3 to build sophisticated modern web front ends. Demonstrable grasp/practical experience with OOP concepts, SOLID principles, and ability to design highly scalable code. Demonstrable understanding of and participation in establishment and/or maintenance and execution of CI/CD processes. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or equivalent and relevant job experience. Strong in Object Oriented Programming using C#. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all project team members and stakeholders (locally and globally) is essential. NB Stable internet connection and set up for remote work in the case of loadshedding is essential. Additional Qualifications: Experience with ASP.NET, Angular, RESTful APIs, and SQL server is desirable. Experience or knowledge with Azure, Docker Containers, and Kubernetes is desirable. Experience or knowledge of the Agile methodologies. Experience in the Financial Services Domain.
