We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer based in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa Industry: Engineering/Geotechnical Level: Senior Key Requirements: Honours Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum of 5 years' experience in the geotechnical field related to civil infrastructure and mining, with a focus on tailings Experience in team supervision and coaching of junior engineering staff Professional registration will be advantageous Personal Attributes: Strong project supervision and management skills Ability to coordinate deliverables and review technical designs and reports Proficiency in interpreting in-situ and laboratory test results and conducting design analysis using industry-known software packages Familiarity with advanced soil mechanics knowledge and modeling, including critical state soil mechanics, FEM modeling, and advanced laboratory testing Excellent English writing skills with experience in drafting technical reports and feasibility studies If you would like to apply for this position, please send your CV through to engineering.vacancystand-outstaffing.co.za or contact us at 031 350 4019.
