An exciting opportunity has become available for a renowned public speaker and television presenter. The position is based in Sandton, Johannesburg. Lead and execute creative projects from concept to completion, ensuring consistency and excellence in all design outputs. Actively engage with clients to understand their mission, values, and goals, transforming these into effective and impactful marketing and branding materials. Present design concepts and solutions to clients, incorporating feedback into final designs. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and best practices to ensure that the studio's work remains innovative and effective. Design user-friendly and visually appealing reports, presentations, and proposals; create infographics and data visualisations to explain/simplify complex data. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines. Mentor and train junior designers to help them develop their skills and grow professionally. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement. Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and templates to ensure consistency across all design projects. At least 5 years of experience in the development of visual brand identities and design for both print and digital marketing collateral. Mastery over a wide range of design software, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Pitch, and image-generating AI like Midjourney. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with motion graphics is preferred. A strong understanding of the importance of brand consistency across all brand collateral and the ability to adapt and innovate within brand guidelines. A portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of skills. Team Collaboration and Leadership: A team player who can collaborate on multidisciplinary projects and mentor junior designers. A great sense of responsibility for the successful outcome of projects. Passion and Drive: A passion for contributing to the socio-economic development of Africa through creative and effective marketing strategies.
