The Senior Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing all health and safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the mining industry and will possess excellent leadership and communication skills.Responsibilities Develop and implement health and safety programs and policiesEnsure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulationsConduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure complianceManage and oversee incident investigations and reportingProvide leadership and guidance to the health and safety teamCollaborate with management and other departments to develop and enforce health and safety goalsRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Safety ManagementMBA/MBL would be advantageous.In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislationOccupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) certificatesMinimum of 10 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in the mining industryIn-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance proceduresStrong leadership and communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software See Description See Description
