Job requirements: ND in Engineering, Cerficate in Hydraulics, Certificate in Trade Theory Driver's licence (code EB) Toolbox with basic tools Job responsibilities:- To troubleshoot, remove, repair, and test all hydraulic and pneumatic equipment used in the marine engineering sector, onsite and in the workshop to restore the equipment functionality.- Must be well versed in hydraulic piping skills and able to read hydraulic diagrams.- Must be a skilled, dynamic hydraulic professional with hands on experience in assembling, repairing, and troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems who intends to work for a reputable organization. Production: - Monitor & maintain daily workload & turnaround time of hydraulics team - Responsible for organizing & scheduling work, training technicians to perform setups, running tests & performing data acquisitions - Perform set ups, run standard tests as well as special projects involving the build of customs set ups. Keep detail data throughout duration of programs - Ensures all work is performed according to customer procedures and regulatory requirements - Responsible for monitoring & following company safety procedures within the department to conform to appropriate regulatory & company standards - Inspect, maintain & repair hydraulic systems and components of all mining and plant equipment and machinery as directed by Technical Superintendent - Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic systems- Install new hydraulic systems and components - Perform tests on hydraulic components and systems - Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of hydraulic systems - Document work carried out and maintain records - Comply with health and safety regulations - Ensures all work tools are safe and properly maintained and stowed - Assists the ROV seabed tool launch and recovery Specific Requirements: Must have 10 years experience in: Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Mechanics- Marine Industry experience Skills: - Basic hand skills and problem-solving Behaviours: - Professional pride- Accuracy- Attention to detail- Flexibility- Focus Desired Skills: hydraulics pneumatics overhauls stripping pumps motors marine data aquistion tests routine maintenance health & safety diagnose mining plant equipment Desired Work Experience: 5 to 10 years Desired Qualification Level: Diploma About The Employer: Marine Mining industry
