Reference: PTA022635-VS-1 Senior Imports Controller Parow, Cape Town Salary - depending on experience Our busy client in the Logistics industry is looking for a Senior Import Controller to join their growing team Minimum requirements: Matric Receipt of Documents / Shipping Instructions Monitoring documents and requests from Clients and Head Office and acting accordingly Requesting original documents timeously Prepare and complete every file for invoicing, ensure customer documents are delivered on time Ensuring that files are invoiced out according to rate profiles Raising of Purchase Orders to Suppliers To assist with any Logistics calculations on Import Shipments Follow a quote system and save all quotes on network for easy access Obtain approval of quotes from department manager prior to sending Prepare estimates for logistics quotes Negotating best possible rates for ocean/ air/ road/rail to secure the business Control and manage companies freight rates noting validities and updating when necessary Produce estimates within the required time constraints, but with precision and accuracy Assist with tender rate preparations Complete estimates / proposals as per company quote templates Update client rate schedules as and when required Registration of shipments on Cargowise Requesting for SOB Details Requesting for Shipping Line Charges Ensuring that all Shipping Line Charges are correct and signed off for payment Liasing with 3rd Party service providers Extensive knowledge regarding INCOTERMS Consultant: Vonne Scholtz - Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes Apply via our website www.dantesa.co.za If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful Monthly Apply Now
