Responsibilities: Map Processes: Analyze and document existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains. Identify Key Controls: Assess and determine the critical internal controls necessary to mitigate risks within the organization. Test Adequacy and Effectiveness: Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of key controls, particularly in higher risk areas, through rigorous testing procedures. Prepare Audit Planning Documents: Develop comprehensive audit plans outlining objectives, scope, and methodologies to guide the audit process effectively. Prepare Audit Work Papers: Maintain detailed work papers documenting audit evidence, procedures performed, and findings to ensure compliance with auditing standards. Prepare Draft Concise Risk-Based Audit Reports: Summarize audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations in clear and concise reports for management review and action. Attend DC Stock Counts: Participate in stock counts at distribution centers to verify inventory accuracy and compliance with established procedures. Qualifications: CA(SA)/CIA: Qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) or Certified Internal Auditor designation is required. 3-5 Years of Experience: Demonstrated experience in internal auditing, preferably in logistics, retail, or pharmaceutical industries. Knowledge of Logistics, Retail, or Pharmaceutical Operations: Familiarity with the operational dynamics and regulatory requirements specific to logistics, retail, or pharmaceutical sectors is highly desirable.
