Senior Investment Officer - Johannesburg
Our client is looking for a Senior Investment Officer to join their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a technically demanding environment within a growing investment management business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage investment pipelines
- Originate and negotiate investments
- Draft investment term sheets
- Conduct due diligence of prospective investees, including detailed financial analysis and management meetings
- Prepare screening memos and investment memos
- Apply investment guidelines, investment committee decisions, and E&S policies
- Work with legal counsel to negotiate final investment agreements
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee investment and operational teams
- Support fundraising efforts
- Contribute to the growth of the fund business, including new fund strategies

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in investment management
- CFA or equivalent certification preferred
- At least 10 years of relevant experience
