Do database maintenance and administration of the CPUT LMS. Implement updates and customization of the CPUT LMS. Integrate databases between the LMS and the back-end Student Information System ITS. Work directly with CTS to improve the student experience with the LMS (diagnostic and design of solutions). Network knowledge, especially with respect to system integration. Report writing on user usage of all educational technologies applied. Investigate, explore and integrate alternative and emerging technologies for HE T&L. Design and develop software for integration of technologies for teaching and learning. Competencies Managing a Microsoft or similar server and sequel database. REST API Programming skills. Database management expertise. Creativity and innovation. Project management skills to manage and implement smaller projects independently. Develop and implement performance improvements in process and content. Understand and manage strict change control measures.
