Purpose of the role:We are seeking a Java Spring Developer to join our dynamic development team.As an essential member of our technology department, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining Java Spring applications.Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of our software solutions, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and performance benchmarks.Accountability: Team WorkProvide technical expertise for project and team during design and code reviews, ensuring best technical practices are applied.Follow Agile Development practisesAssist development team in compliance with policies and procedures.Accountability: Software Solution DesignApply Software Engineering PracticesParticipate in Release and Iteration Planning meetings with engineers and users.Assist during design of the software solutionAssist in physical and logical database design and be able to interpret design diagrams and documents.Understand software engineering techniques such as the use of UML (Unified Modelling Language), Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), etc.Be aware of software standards applicable in the organisation.
