Role Title: Senior Legal Counsel Client Summary: Our client, a leader in healthcare, seeks a Senior Legal Counsel for their head office. Job Description: Join a top healthcare company as their Senior Legal Counsel. Provide strategic legal guidance and integrate legal services within the business. Responsibilities: Draft various commercial agreements, including shareholder and procurement deals. Stay updated on legislative changes and ensure compliance. Manage risks and uphold corporate governance standards. Negotiate favorable terms to add value and minimize risks. Work with external legal experts to implement actionable strategies. Provide legal support and guidance in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Requirements: LLB degree and Admitted Attorney status. Minimum five years of post-articles experience in commercial law, ideally in a corporate or law firm. Healthcare law experience is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and proficiency in computer use. Strong problem-solving, resilience, influence, and relationship-building skills. R1,400,000 per annum - R1,600,000 per annum based on qualifications and experience
