We are seeking a Senior Manager : Facilities Management for a 5 year FTC based in East London, Eastern Cape. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Architecture and a relevant post graduate qualification or professional registration with a relevant built environment professional body. At least 8 years relevant experience of which 5 years should be in the built environment or facilities maintenance/management at middle management or senior consultancy level. An in-depth understanding of facilities management, advanced project and maintenance management skills, sound understanding of SHE legislation and its application to the built environment; as well as working with multi-disciplinary teams is a pre-requisite The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Execution and management of facilities management function Strategy & governance; facilities management; contract management; budget management; customer/stakeholder management; monitoring and reporting; and building a professional team Driving / managing functions relating to preventative property maintenance, internal infrastructure operations, installations and maintenance of fixtures and OHS services Assessment of facilities condition and determination of required works Develop / ensure implementation of maintenance plans Salary: Market related Please email detailed CV and supporting documentation and salary requirements through to glynisbsheldon.co.za with “Senior Mng : Facilities Mng” in the subject line If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful
