HireResolve has partnered with a leading Bank who is currently looking for an Internal Audit Manager with 5 years experience in the Banking space.This role will be responsible for assisting the Chief Internal Auditor in providing reliable, value added and independent assurance to the Board, Shareholders and other Stakeholders.The role will have day to day collaborative interactions with members of the Executive and Management teamResponsibilities:Application of the internal audit framework and methodologyApplication of the internal audit charterMaintaining the internal audit universePerformance of business wide (universe) inherent risk and control risk assessmentsPlanning of internal audit assignments per the risk assessmentPlanning of management requested and other ad hoc internal audit assignmentsKey risk identificationKey control identificationKey control adequacy assessmentsDefinition of testing strategiesPopulation analysis and sample selectionsConducting fieldwork and control effectiveness testingConsolidation of findings and agreed action plans (recommendations)Creation of internal audit reportsObtaining management comments and agreeing internal audit reports with managementFinalisation and publication of audit reportsFinalisation of audit files in line with internal audit best practice and methodology requirementsExecute and manage internal audits within predetermined timeframeRequirements:Relevant University Degree required.Financial qualifications i.e., CA(SA) required.Internal auditor qualifications (CIA) would be advantageousInternal Audit experience in Banking - a minimum of 7 years required.Experience in executing and managing Internal Financial Controls, IFRS 9, ICAAP, Basel Pillar III; Credit;Treasury and Business as Usual reviews – a minimum of 5 years required.Experience in analysing risk, and its impact on the internal control environment and the financial, strategic and operational objectives of financial institutions required.If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to Hire Resolve at financialcareershireresolve.za.comYou are also welcome to contact Michaela Boustred on LinkedIn or call her on 021 551 8638.Please note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
