Senior Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect - Northcliff
We are currently expanding our Azure Team We need a Smart, Humble & Hungry Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Key responsibilities include: Understand customers' overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions) Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap. Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates Be the Voice of the Customer; Share insights and best practices, and connect with Engineering teams to remove key blockers Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community Be an Azure Platform evangelist with customers, partners and external communities Plan, execute and ensure successful delivery of cloud migration projects and deployments Technical lead to consultants on projects Knowledge and Skill Solid knowledge of multi-vendor service integrations and cross-functional software, OS’s and infrastructure designs Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Knowledgeable on how specific infrastructures and application software are deployed in line with relevant methodologies and frameworks Ability to develop and leverage their knowledge of reference architectures Ability to maintain knowledge of trends and development in technology domains Technical Know-how Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud) Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, automation, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments. Microsoft Azure Platform as a Service product such as Azure SQL, WebApps, AppServices and FunctionApp Microsoft Azure and 3rd party Security experience such as Azure NSG, Azure WAF, and Azure Security Centre. Knowledge of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services. In-depth understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, Azure AD Proxy, SAML and Active Directory Domain Services. Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools Knowledge of PowerShell, Git, ARM templates, JSON, Bash and deployment automation. Experienced in the design and delivery of enterprise-level Highly Available solutions. Experience in 3rd party migration tools such as Quest
