Senior Mobile Developer (iOS and Android) - She Recruits - North Johannesburg

Our new Meditech client is currently looking for a highly experienced Senior Android and iOS Developer to join their team in Rosebank, Gauteng. Qualifications required: Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. AWS developer associate certification would be to your advantage. Skills and Experience required: 10 years’ experience in developing and deploying Android/iOS mobile applications. Hands-on experience in driving the full application development life-cycle of Android | iOS application development (concept, design, test, release and support) within deadlines. Solid Mobile / Java/Kotlin/Swift/Objective-C development skills. Experience in scripting / procedure development in noSQL (advantageous). Have worked on and published one or more apps in the App or Play Store. Experience in AWS Cloud Tech, or AWS Serverless development (advantageous). Extensive experience using Cloud-based IDE's and CI/CD pipelines like Bitrise, CodeMagic, Fastlane, AWS pipelines, CircleCI. Experience with offline storage, persistency, and threading (multi). A strong understanding of web UI technologies, UX and UI designs. Experience and knowledge of low-level system work is preferred (services, backgrounding) Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3 Familiar with RESTful APIs and JSON to interact with backend systems. Well-versed in Unit & Automated testing techniques for Android apps. Strong knowledge of encryption mechanisms Experience of working in an Agile / Scrum team.
