Reference: HC003295-Moipo-1 Job Title: Senior Network Engineer Career Stream: IT Infrastructure Network Job Level: Technical Expert Job Purpose: Provide 2nd level escalation (3rd being the Vendor) support for BAU teams ensuring that the networks and client connectivity platforms meet or exceed availability. Ensure quality, performance, and resiliency requirements in SLAs agreed with business stakeholders thus contributing to the mitigation of technology risks for the client. To interpret the technology infrastructure architecture roadmap and from it conceptualize, innovate, design and implement the client's network and client connectivity solutions. Outputs: Contribute to crafting the Network and Client Connectivity infrastructure strategy, ensuring client platforms meet existing and future business requirements. Design and innovate Network and Client Connectivity infrastructure solutions maximizing performance, reliability, and resiliency for competitive and reliable services. Ensure IM's department's Network and Client Connectivity infrastructure projects and initiatives are timely and of prescribed quality, adding value to the clients business. Identify potential show stoppers and provide solutions where possible. Apply cost-effective principles in designing challenging/complex Network and Client Connectivity infrastructure solutions. Build relationships with colleagues, peers, and staff promoting openness, trust, and confidence in intentions. Engage with clients' network and connectivity teams to ensure understanding of client's network connectivity requirements. Provide consultancy and expert opinions on Networks and Client Connectivity infrastructure to internal stakeholders. Collaborate with subject matter experts on projects to address issues smoothly. Mentor and coach team members to improve competencies in Networks and Client Connectivity infrastructure. Education: Essential Qualification: CCNA, CCNP Qualification or similar Preferred Qualification: Networking, CCNP, CCDP Qualification or similar.
