Your Role: You are the platform owner and will own the AWS platform in every aspect: security, cost, access, improvement, services, solution You will work with the “Cloud & Infra” team to roll out and update new/existing services and solutions that are secured, scalable, and meet the guidelines You are answerable for cost management (such as spikes due to operational issues, new projects, etc.) and provide justification or propose preventive action, as applicable You will represent the data team in multiple forums (technical and non-technical) to understand the requirements and showcase the capability of the platform Maintains a well-defined and prioritised product backlog, continuously refining it based on business needs and AWS advancements You will own the technical, and feature roadmaps along with release planning, sprint goals, and grooming of both technical and business functionality that meets multiple development projects Requires managing project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to meet expected deliverables Works closely with development teams, principal engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and priorities Establishes, develops, and maintains effective relationships with applicable project stakeholders (e.g., project team members, team leads, internal customers, functional SMEs, business partners, and leadership) Leads the planning and coordination of product releases, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements in line with AWS best practices. Identifies and mitigates potential risks that may impact AWS cloud service development, release timelines, or overall success Adheres to compliance and architectural standards requirements Identifies and mitigates risks related to cloud infrastructure, such as security vulnerabilities or performance bottlenecks Interacts with the development team to answer questions, provide feedback, and ensure that the product is being developed in alignment with the vision and requirements Your Impact: Lead with a decisive character, setting directions and making tough calls in your roadmap Balance business demands with platform optimisation, steering the team towards innovative solutions Navigate through challenges, enforcing platform improvements and strategic cost management Work in a well-established team with AWS expertise, where communication and innovation thrive.
