Understands the applications of the different material management systems (Kanbans, 5S, JIT, Lean) Experience bringing teams and processes from development to production Able to effectively communicate with engineering and production (verbal and written) Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures. Schematics: engineering drawings, circuit layouts, and parts list Cable Harnesses: wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and parts list. Mechanical Assemblies: mechanical drawings and parts lists Strong leadership skills Safety training and/or safety certifications Experience monitoring, tracking and continually improving total cost equation Experience with applying lean manufacturing principles, efficiency methods Approachable disposition, broad-minded and open to rapid changing requirements Calming demeanour in high-pressure situations with tenacity to resolve conflict for permanent problem resolution Ability to work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment Computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc. Assure continued training and skills development to attract, develop, and retain great people Must be able to set a high hiring bar while evaluating and hiring top talent Extremely customer focused with strong verbal and written communication skills A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with teams of diverse skills A continuous improvement mindset. Experience with large project controls.
