Senior Programme Manager - Johannesburg
Deloitte is urgently seeking the asisstance of a Programme Manager to help on a client project.
Role: Senior Programme Manager
Industry: Leading oil refinery in crude oil, petroleum products and bio-fuels
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months (full time) Contractual project
About the role
- Mature resource that has in depth Oil and Gas with Refineries experience (non-negotiable)
- Must have worked on multi million / major programmes that involve business transformation, turn around, business rescue, mergers and acquisitions
Programme management
- Senior day to day support and ownership of challenging / tracking workstreams
- Ability to ask the right questions in areas like logistics in order to shape requirements
- Quality assurance on certain workstreams to ensure nothing is being missed
- Industry experience
- Able to provide a helicopter view of the programme and readiness for day 1
- Upward reporting to steerco level
Functional / workstream insight / expertise
- IT
- Finance (in particular definition of required finance processes)
- Oversight of largely group based support (e.g. legal)
- Logistics
