Location: Offices in Meyersdal, Alberton Our client is the supplier of new grinding mills, mill spares, refurbished plant equipment and turnkey project management. They are a fun and dynamic team. They are performance driven and have an open door policy. They have a low turn over and their staff is taken care of. They are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join their growing team. Key attributes: Must be able to execute projects with Snr Management / Project Manager assistance and management Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software. The ability to work with multiple discipline projects. Excellent project management and supervision skills. Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices. Good decision-making skills. Strong technical skills in engineering principles and practices. Excellent communication skills. Attention to detail. Time management skills. Flexibility. Brief description of the role: Required to manage his/her own projects in accordance with the companies specifications and requirements. Responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects assigned and to establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project. Management of Project cost, quality, timing, scope, freight and site works. Understand the mechanical components of grinding mills and other equipment and how these machines operate. Travelling requirements: Periodic travel overseas Valid RSA Passport Qualifications: Chemical / Mechanical engineering or Metallurgy degree. Project Management would be advantageous. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the mining industry with multi-disciplinary engineering and project experience.
