Losika Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate investment banking and capital markets, coupled with a strong background in Agile, SAFe, and Scrum methodologies. This role involves leading and managing complex banking projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Management: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures. Manage project changes, risks, and issues, ensuring they are identified, assessed, and resolved. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including executive sponsors, business units, and technical teams. Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates on project progress to stakeholders. Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction, support, and motivation. Ensure team members have clear roles and responsibilities and are aligned with project goals. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Agile, SAFe, and Scrum Practices: Implement and advocate Agile, SAFe, and Scrum methodologies in project execution. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Coach and mentor team members on Agile best practices and principles. Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. Allocate and manage resources effectively to optimize project delivery. Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets. Quality Assurance: Ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards. Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure adherence to project management processes and best practices. Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop risk management plans and contingency strategies. Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical risks and issues. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in corporate investment banking and capital markets. Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects in a banking environment. Strong background in Agile, SAFe, and Scrum methodologies. Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence). Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
