We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior R&D Scientist to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading R&D projects, developing new products, and improving existing products to meet market demands and regulatory standards. This role requires a strong background in scientific research, product development, and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage R&D projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring timely and successful delivery of new and improved products.
- Conduct research to identify new ingredients, technologies, and processes that can be applied to product development.
- Develop and optimize product formulations, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on product development goals and timelines.
- Design and execute experiments, analyse data, and interpret results to make informed decisions on product development.
- Stay updated on industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.
- Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior R&D staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all R&D activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
