We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior R&D Scientist to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading R&D projects, developing new products, and improving existing products to meet market demands and regulatory standards. This role requires a strong background in scientific research, product development, and project management.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage R&D projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring timely and successful delivery of new and improved products.
Conduct research to identify new ingredients, technologies, and processes that can be applied to product development.
Develop and optimize product formulations, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on product development goals and timelines.
Design and execute experiments, analyse data, and interpret results to make informed decisions on product development.
Stay updated on industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.
Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior R&D staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Ensure all R&D activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Strong knowledge of product formulation, ingredient functionality, and food processing technologies.
