Description Main purpose of the Job: (Overall objective) Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP applications. Key Performance Areas: Design and develop SAP applications using ABAP programming language. Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform regular system checks to ensure optimal performance. Provide technical support and training to end-users. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in SAP ABAP. Job Specification: Skills: Advanced ABAP coding Building CDS views Calling SAP API's Using SAP IDOCS Writing Technical Specifications for Developers to follow Writing Test Specifications and executing testing against them Knowledge: SAP ABAP development & debugging tools Personal Competencies: A Deliverer Analytical Problem Solver Sees the Big Picture Analysing and Interpreting Creating and conceptualising Adapting and Coping Required Minimum Education and Qualification: Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. (strongly advisable) Systems Design certificate or training Minimum experience required to do the Job: Essential: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP S4HANA ABAP development. Experience in researching, interpreting, and applying SAP Notes. Logging and managing SAP tickets / calls. Strong knowledge of SAP systems and modules. Desirable: SAP ABAP certification. Experience in working in with SAP S4 Extended Edition / Private Cloud / HEC Fiori Development, SAP BTP tools (E.g. BAS) as well as low-code no-code tools. Experience in Pharma, Logistics, or Wholesale & Distribution Industries.
